Homeschooling during a recession

Admit it or not we are in a recession, noone can tell us how long it will last. As a homeschool mom of six I have found myself trying to find ways to save money.

I chuckle when I think of my starter years as a hser, purchasing all of my curriculum full price from the actual distributor. My kids are happy to get a textbook that does not have highlighter all over it these days.

I have gone from working on Wall Street shopping in exclusive boutiques and only wearing designer digs to buying second hand clothes on Ebay for my little ones, purchasing recylcled books and clipping coupons. The funny thing is I wouldn't trade my life now for anything in the world!

  2. Funny because we didn't really have a lot of money to begin with, although we had enough. I didn't even know that we were in a recession for the longest. LOL I guess if you don't have it you don't miss it.
